LSU is first to fully embrace custom football jerseys for players

LSU Football made history Friday, becoming the first college football team to earn near unanimous team participation in the recently announced Fanatics and OneTeam Partners co-branded player jersey program.

Customizable Nike jerseys, which will feature the name and number of each soccer student-athlete who enrolls in the program, will be available for purchase before the 2022 season, and players will be compensated for each of their jersey sales.

The co-branded player jersey program went live Thursday at dozens of schools, and LSU achieved near-unanimous buy-in within 24 hours of its launch. More information on how fans can shop their favorite current LSU football players’ jerseys will be available later this year.
