Detroit Pistons reach agreement on United Wholesale Mortgage jersey patch

The Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA) have confirmed a partnership with United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM).
The multi-year deal will see the wholesale mortgage lender replace Flagstar Bank on the team’s playing shirts from next season.
Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed, but Athletic’s Bill Shea noted that NBA patch deals are typically three-year contracts ranging from $7 million to $20 million per season.
The agreement also names UWM as the Pistons’ exclusive mortgage partner and supporting partner of the franchise’s “Hoops for Troops” community relations platform. The company will also be the presenting sponsor of the team’s regular season home games on Sundays.
Other elements of the sponsorship package include television and radio advertisements, placement of rotating banners on the Pistons website, as well as on-field rotating signage and digital signage inside the Little Caesars Arena. ‘team.
